"A journey of a life time begins with the first step."

My journey will begin on November 12, 2005 as I head to Hong Kong to visit my dear friend, Susan and her husband, Cliff.   After staying several days in Hong Kong, Susan and I will head for a four day trip to Beijing.  Here I will fill full a life long dream of seeing the "Great Wall of China".  We will return to Hong Kong and I will leave on Thanksgiving Day, November 24.

This blog will be a journal of my trip.  It will include pictures of the many sites that I  see along the way.  Please join me on my trip.

Mrs. T in Beijing

Susan and I  have made it to Beijing.  Susan's friend, James, is showing us around.  Last night we went to Tiananmen Square and then to an outdoor market where the food was from all 29 Providences in China.  It was very interesting.  We had noodles for supper at a local restaurant. 

Today we are off to see the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.  Saturday is the Great Wall.

I am having trouble getting to the webpage.  Hopefully, I can work it out tonight.
