This has been a great day for Room 309 and their teacher. We have been working on our Moving On Projects as well as going down to the lower grade and doing storytelling. I am so proud of all the students. I have received evaluations of their stories with words such as "kept the student engaged", "the students loved the story", " the student did an excellent job" and the praises continues.
Today we played in the First Annual "Fifth Grade Toilet Bowl" Kickball Tournament. Mrs. Caudle and Mrs. Reynolds played and we played the winner. We won and now are in the championship game with Mrs. Minor who had played Mrs. Matacotta. Tomorrow during Special Coach Golden is go to official our Championship Game. The winning teacher will have to wear the "Toilet Roll Necklace" the rest of the day.
We ate lunch in our room. My room moms surprised us with a Birthday Cake (ice cream cake!) for my summer birthday. We had a great time eating the cake. The moms also brought a special candy gift for all the students. They also gave me a special book my students had helped to create. It was a very special day. I can not thank them enough for all they have done for my class as well as for me.
THANK YOU!
